Moscow, December 29 - Neftegaz.RU. Magzum Mirzagaliyev, Chairman of the Management Board of NC KazMunayGas JSC, Marat Ormanov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of NMSC Kazmortransflot LLP, and Aidar Orzhanov, General Director of NMSC Kazmortransflot LLP had a working visit to Abu Dhabi, UAE, where they got acquainted with the activities of AD Ports Group.
During the working trip the delegation visited the flagship deep-water port Khalifa Port Abu Dhabi, launched for operation in 2012, the free economic zone Khalifa Economic Zone Abu Dhabi (KEZAD), located in close proximity to the port, as well as the support base for maritime operations of AD Ports Group.
Following the results of the negotiations Ammar Al Sheiba, General Director of Safeen Group, a part of Cluster Marine Transport and Operations of AD Ports Group, and Aidar Orzhanov, General Director of NMSC Kazmortransflot LLP, signed a Joint Venture Agreement on the territory of Astana International Financial Centre.
The signing took place in the presence of Mr. Mirzagaliyev and General Director of AD Ports Group Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi.
It is planned that the new joint venture will provide services for offshore oil and gas projects in the Caspian Sea.
In addition, AD Ports Group has expressed interest in investing in construction and acquisition of merchant and tanker fleet in the Caspian Sea and open seas.
