Yakutsk, January 19 - Neftegaz.RU. Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha, a production enterprise of Rosneft, has discovered in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) a new large gas and condensate field following an appraisal drilling on the Nizhnedzherbinsky license area.
Over 75 billion cubic metres of gas and 1.4 million tonnes of gas condensate have been registered with the State Reserves Commission.
Specialists have confirmed the commercial gas reserves and high productivity of the field, as well as its considerable potential for further exploration. The new deposit is named after Ivan Kulbertinov, one of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, a native of the Olekminsky ulus of Yakutia.
Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha develops 10 licence blocks located in Yakutia. The enterprise is developing the Central block and Kurunga licence block of the Srednebotuobinskoye oil and gas condensate field, being one of the largest Rosneft’s assets in East Siberia.
