More BP Money to Russia

BP closed a $1.4 billion deal on Friday to bring Slavneft into its existing joint venture, TNK-BP.

Since the beginning of 2003, BP's equity investment commitment to Russia stands at $7.75 billion.

Last August, BP committed to pay $6.35 billion in cash and shares to to create TNK-BP.
