Lukoil's Tax Dispute

According to the Azeri government, the Russian oil company, LUKoil, has not paid 220m dollars in taxes to the Azerbaijani state budget. The amount was under contract when Lukoil sold its share in the Azari-Ciraq-Gunasli project to the Japanese company INPEX.

Azerbaijani Tax Minister Fazil Mammadov stated that claims by the Russian company that it has allegedly paid the sum, are simply not true.
