Canadian Major Cuts Reserves
Company declares reserve cut will not affect 2004 production...
Canada's No. 4 oil explorer, Nexen, has lowered its estimate for worldwide proved reserves by eight percent. The company said it would take a fourth-quarter charge to account for the revisions and the revision would not affect its forecasts for 2004 production.
