ExxonMobil Waits for Official Response
Company demands government response to Sakhalin-3 inquiry...
ExxonMobil is still expecting an official response from the Russian government to the inquiry sent in December 2003. The inquiry wanted confirmed results of the 1993 Sakhalin-3 block tender.
Michael Allen, director of the PR department of Exxon Neftegaz Limited said this in his written statement disseminated on February 4 among mass media of Sakhalin.

Deputy Prime Minister Victor Khristenko said that the governmental commission for production sharing agreements annulled the results of the tender held in 1993 for the right to develop the fields of Sakhalin-3 project.
