Shell Ends Indonesian Monopoly

Royal Dutch Shell and five Indonesian companies have secured the license to sell oil fuels in Indonesia, ending the monopoly enjoyed by state-owned oil company Pertamina.

PT Krida Petra Graha, a subsidiary of Shell, said the business prospects in the downstream sector of the oil industry is more promising in Indonesia than in many other countries.
