Honda, one of the world's largest auto manufacturers, is in final talks with a US aircraft engine maker to set up a 50-50 joint venture in the United States to produce propeller engines for small planes, a report said.
Honda and Teledyne Continental Motors Inc. aim to establish the joint venture as early as this spring. The amount of capitalization is unknown.
