ABB Sale Proceeds

Approval of ABB's $925 million oil and gas businesses sale to a private equity consortium has been granted by the European Commission.

Three divisions will go, one of the last parts of the successful financial turnaround of the Swiss-Swedish engineering giant which has a very successful Middle East division.
