Litasco, a wholly-owned subsidiary of LUKoil, signed a contract with US firm Refinery Associates of Texas, Inc. on the supply of gasoline and diesel fuel to the northern provinces of Iraq. The contract is signed for three months with a possibility of prolongation to 12 months and comes into effect from April 1, reports the PR service of LUKoil.
This is the first contract of a Russian oil company since the beginning of combat operations in Iraq.
