Time to Get the Lawyers

The Russian Justice Ministry has filed a plea calling for former Yukos boss Mikhail Khodorkovskiy's lawyer, Olga Artyukhova, to have her status revoked. The Justice Ministry had previously asked the Moscow Bar Chamber to revoke Artyukhova's status as a lawyer after notes were confiscated from her when leaving Khodorkovskiy's cell in the Matrosskaya Tishina remand centre.
The investigating team said that the notes were evidence of an attempt to interfere with the investigation. The Moscow chamber did not find anything unjust in Artyukhova's actions.
