Lukoil Implements Iraqi Supply Plan

LITASKO, a subsidiary of Russian giant Lukoil, has begun shipment of diesel fuel and gasoline supplies for the northern Iraqi provinces.

On March 19, LITASKO signed a 3-month supply agreement with the US company Refinery Associates of Texas, Inc. The two companies have also signed a 12-month option to prolong the existing contract. The quarterly amount of gasoline to be supplied is 180,000 tons, that of diesel fuel is 130,000 tons.
