Rosneft Moves to Tyumen Region

According to Sergei Bogdanchikov, head of Rosneft oil company, 'the present interest of Rosneft lies in Western Siberia. For us Tumen is a special region and we welcome the integration processes underway there.'

Bogdanchikov said the center of the oil and gas industry is moving to Tumen, that is why Rosneft needs to open its representative office there and to create its infrastructure for the changing conditions.

Bogdanchikov added 'Tumen is a promising region, production and sales volumes are growing there and now we are ready to invest about $1 billion.'
