China Southern Airlines has entered into an agreement with Airbus to purchase 21 commercial aircraft. This is the first large deal for Airbus from a Chinese customer.
As China relaxes its restrictions on travel, passenger traffic is expected to increase considerably. Analysts believe China will be the largest market for passenger aircraft for the next five decades.
China Southern Airlines has a fleet of 125 aircraft.
