BP Feel Sure Of Itself

British Petroleum Company announced Thursday that it was confident about its estimating of oil and gas reserves, following two reductions by Royal Dutch/Shell Group this year.
BP's chairman Peter Sutherland said that company?s audit committee and management have reviewed the company's approach to reserves.
"We are satisfied that there are appropriate processes in place within the group to estimate the proved reserves that we report," he said.
