Lea Fastow, wife of Andrew Fastow, former Enron CFO, has been accused in a tax charge misdemeanour.
The former Enron assistant treasurer had submitted a tax return which did not include income from Andrew Fastow?s secretive partnerships.
Lea Fastow was charged last year with six felony conspiracy and tax counts by the US Justice Department's Enron Task Force.
The felony counts were dropped after Mrs Fastow co-operated with the prosecutors as a co-operating witness.
Her efforts helped secure the conviction of her husband, who forfeited $23.8m when they both pleaded guilty.
In October 2002 Andrew Fastow faced multiple charges of fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud.
He was found guilty and will serve a 10-year jail sentence after he has finished helping the authorities with their enquiries.
