Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller didn?t restrict his yesterday?s business activities by negotiations with Serbia, and met with Slovak Ambassador to Moscow Augustin Cisar.
They were discussing prospects for cooperation in the gas sector.
Slovakia is one of the main partners of Russian gas major in Eastern Europe, because Gazprom?s pipelines to major European markets run through its territory. Russia supplies 80 percent of its gas to Western Europe through Slovakia.
In 2003, Gazprom supplied to Slovakia 7.3 billion cubic meters, including the supplies to pay for transit and compressor plants supplies.
