Gazprom Has Debts to Budget

Russia?s gas monopoly Gazprom has a long-term debt to international accounting standards amounted to 468.037 billion rubles in 2003, which is 20.36% more than in 2002.
The company's long-term loans amounted to 303.755 billion rubles in 2003, up from 248.603 billion rubles a year earlier.
Short-term debt as of December 31, 2003 amounted to 426.127 billion rubles compared with 428.938 billion rubles in 2002.
Short-term loans including current debt on long-term loans at the end of 2003 amounted to 170.622 billion rubles compared with 184.823 billion rubles in 2002. Accounts payable increased from 95.84 billion rubles in 2002 to 124.273 billion rubles in 2003.
Gazprom debt to the budget and off-budget funds in 2003 amounted to 103.799 billion rubles, up from 106.891 billion rubles in 2002.
