Slavneft Enhances Oil Output

Russian oil company Slavneft announced in its press-release, that it increased the oil production capacity by 28.2 percent to 10.47 million tons of oil over the first six months of 2004, compared to that in the corresponding period of 2002.
The oil output of Slavneft's subsidiaries reached 1.79m tons in June 2004, it is more by 24.4 percent in comparison with the previous year.
The daily output continued to rise over the first six months of 2004. While the daily output was about 55,400 tons at the beginning of the year, the corresponding average figure for June 2004 was 59,700 tons.
The company's refineries refined over 10.3m tons of hydrocarbons in January-June, 2004.This amount exceeded the corresponding figure for January-June of last year by 2.8 percent.
