Russneft Subs Raise Output

Oil, Gas and Mineral Resources Department of Yugra (northwest Siberia, Russia) said Russian oil company Russneft's subsidiaries Varyeganneft and Goloil announced they produced 1.85 million tonnes of oil in the first half of 2004, 10.3% more than in the same period of last year.
Varyeganneft raised output 10.2% to 893,483 tonnes and Goloil increased it 10.4% to 191,992 tonnes. Russneft's subsidiaries work three oil fields in the district.
Varyeganneft raised oil production 11.3% to 704,367 tonnes in 2003.
