YUKOS Shareholders Are Ready to Fire Gerashchenko

Chief shareholders of oil giant YUKOS are ready for an extra meeting to discuss the replacing of the company?s chairman Viktor Gerashchenko.
WE remind you, that yesterday ex-chief of YUKOS Mikhail Khodorkovsky declared that he was going to lay Gerashchenko?s retirement on the tapis of main shareholders.
Khodorkovsky?s attorney Anton Drel said, "Since the last meeting of the Board of Directors on June 24, it has become clear that shareholders? hopes for a negotiations with the government with the help of Victor Gerashchenko have collapsed??
Moreover, competent sources claim that the further presence of Gerashchenko on the board will deteriorate the possible results of negotiations."
Also, it has known, that on 5th of July Khodorkovsky asked Gerashchenko to retire, but the decision has not been made.
