Major Moves at Shell

Shell Petroleum Development yesterday carried out a major reorganization. The company with announced a new deputy managing director, Mark Corner, who?s succeeding Mr. Joshua Udofia, who is proceeding to London as Senior Advisor - Nigeria. Corner will enter upon office from September, 1.

The reorganization, which came barely one week after the appointment of the first Nigerian Managing Director for the oil giant, had Dr. Kisito Okpere, currently the production director of Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCO), deployed as SPDC Technical Director.

The current Managing Director of Shell Petroleum Development Chris Finlayson has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Shell Exploration and Production (Shell EP) in Africa, with effect from October 1, this year.
