International oil and gas giant Schlumberger plans to begin turning out equipment for the oil and gas industry at its new plant in Tyumen, Russia, in the second quarter of 2005, as Schlumberger Russia?s project manager Robert Keimig reported.
According to him, Schlumberger is looking to be involved in the production of Russian equipment, components and materials.
Keimig has met with management at a series of Tyumen-based enterprises, he said, and has been pleased with these meetings.
The plant in Tyumen will be making equipment that complies with world quality standards.
