The trial over former executives of US bankrupt energy giant Enron Corp., which was scheduled on August, 18, has been delayed to allow defense attorneys to prepare for the government's intention to seek enhanced prison sentences.
U.S. District Judge Ewing Werlein postponed the trial over two former mid-level Enron executives to September, 20 to allow more time for trial preparations, defense attorneys said.
