The Shell Transport and Trading Company, p.l.c. announces that on 18 August, 2004 it carried out the buyback of its 1,750,000 ordinary shares at a price of 394.69 pence per share.
The remaining number of ordinary shares of the Company, p.l.c. after the buback will constitute 9,633,200,000.
Royal Dutch Petroleum Company announces that on 18 August, 2004 it purchased 400,000 ordinary shares at a price of 40.56 euros per share. The remaining number of ordinary shares outstanding of Royal Dutch Petroleum Company will be 2,076,200,000.
