ENI has been under pressure from Italian regulators
Vittorio Mincato, the chief executive of the largest Italian oil and gas corporation ENI SpA, said the 8 bln cubic meters a year of Libyan gas imported to Italy via its Greenstream pipeline will be entirely sold to competing operators.
"Greenstream is the first, and still unique transport infrastructure,? Mincato said.
ENI has been under pressure from Italian regulators to provide capacity to its competitors on the gas market.
