Oilfield services company Halliburton announced Thursday it won three contracts of $500 million worth for over five years from Petroleum Development Oman.
The company said the contracts, with optional extensions of two years, call for cementing services, stimulation services, directional drilling services, logging-while-drilling services and mudlogging services in the Middle East nation of Oman.
"The award of this contract furthers our commitment to Oman and the Middle East region," said Joe Rainey, Halliburton's vice president of the Middle East region.
