Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA is going to invest more in prospecting next year, increasing expenditures to $3.5 billion from the 2004 level of $3.2 billion, PDVSA Vice President Felix Rodriguez informed.
The company will invest in Tomoporo field in the western state of Trujillo, which has an estimated reserve of up to 1 billion barrels.
