Russian mining company Polimetall plans to double its gold production
Russian mining company Polimetall plans to double its gold production as compared to 2003 figures. The company?s CEO Vitaliy Nesis said next year they would mine over 10 tons and in 2006 ? 11.7-12 tons of gold.
This year the company?s production is forecasted to amount to 6.5 tons of gold and 650 tons of silver. Now Polimetall is unlikely to buy new deposits except or the participation in Sukhoi Log auction.
