The government is going to sell it on 19 December in order to pay Yukos' huge tax bills.
Khodorkovsky, still jailed, said the sale was the "worst solution" to the problems facing Yukos. Being still a major shareholder in Yukos, he argued that not the state should decide the company's future, but the firm's investors.
