oil company PDVSA, stated he would continue the fight against corruption in PDVSA, government news agency Venpres reported.
"We are aware corruption is an evil that could become a lethal blow to the company, especially at this moment when we are restructuring," Ramirez said during a meeting with PDVSA workers at the El Palito refinery. He has assured Venezuelans that PDVSA "will never again be opposed to the interests of all Venezuelans."
Ramirez said he was appointed to the position in order to facilitate the integration of the state organizations.
