Norwegian Govt Changed Its Mind

Norway?s ministry of oil and petroleum has decided not to use its preemption right to acquire BP Norway's interest in the Ormen Lange field on the Norwegian continental shelf.

The decision means the Danish group DONG can go ahead with its $1.2 billion deal which includes both BP Norway's 10.34 percent stake in Ormen Lange and a 10.2 percent interest in the associated Langeled pipeline project.
