Menatep Threatens To Sue Gazprom

Menatep Group, the largest shareholder of beleaguered oil giant Yukos has threatened to sue the future buyer of Yuganskneftegaz.
Yuganskneftegaz, the Yukos? largest subsidiary, is being forcibly auctioned off by the Russian state.

Menatep said the sale of the unit was illegal and would be challenged in a number of countries. It is going to seek to have the auction to be ruled invalid.

The Group will seek to recover damages for Mikhail Khodorkovsky and other private investors in the stricken company.
