SA Gold Producers Lead By Russia

Top executives of South African gold producers Harmony, Gold Fields and Mvelaphanda Resources are going to meet in Moscow on Thursday to negotiate with Russia?s Norilsk Nickel the issue of Harmony and Gold Fields hostile takeover.

Mvelaphanda Resources head Tokyo Sexwale last week referred to "his friends" at Norilsk and, on reflection, it?s worth recalling the way Norilsk voted at the Gold Fields AGM held on November 16.
