Yukos Shareholders Go To Law

The lawyers of Yukos?s main shareholder, Menatep Group, are filing a charge against Baikal Finance Group, the company, which bought Yukos? key production subsidiary Yuganskneftegaz.

Alexander Shadrin, the Yukos spokesman, said that "People, who control the winner of the auction, and those who gave a financial support to it, have already harmed their reputation and jeopardized their businesses.

He emphasized that the sale of Yuganskneftegaz is illegal according to the both Russian and international legislation.
