The governor of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area Alexander Filipenko said that the situation in the Yuganskneftegaz company, sold to Rosneft, is improving.
He said that Yuganskneftegaz is paying back wages, settling up with its contractors and subcontractors. According to Filipenko, the company is planning ?a very strenuous work program for 2005.?
