The world?s biggest integrated oil company ExxonMobil has announced its former head Larry Rawl died.
The company said 76-year old Mr Rawl had been "a strong leader" for the company and the petroleum industry. He died in Fort Worth, Texas.
Larry Rawl was born in New Jersey and studied petroleum engineering before joining the Humble Oil and Refining Company, which later went on to become ExxonMobil, the world's biggest oil group.
He was elected chairman and chief executive in 1987, and managed the company till his retirement in 1993.
