US oil major Exxon Mobil yesterday said it expected 2005 capital expenditure to exceed 2004 ones, which was a record year for the company's operations.
Exxon expects capital spending to rise to about $15 billion to $16 billion in 2005 and to $16 billion to $17 billion in 2006.
