Anatoly Chubais, the chief of Russia?s power grid monopoly RAO UES, raised the stakes in a dispute with Russian aluminium tycoon Oleg Deripaska on Wednesday, by offering fifty-fifty ownership of a power plant in return for an equal stake in an aluminium factory.
Chubais has repeatedly clashed with Oleg Deripaska, who owns the world?s third-largest aluminium company Rusal, over control of the Boguchansk hydroelectric plant.
