The former Yukos security chief, Alexei Pichugin, has been convicted of murder and attempted murder by a Russian court.
Pichugin was accused of carrying out the murders for Leonid Nevzlin, a core shareholder in Menatep Group, Yukos' owner. Mr Nevzlin is currently living in exile in Israel.
Also, according to Russian mass media, Pichugin was accused of organizing the murder of married couple Sergei and Olga Gorins in 2002.
Pichugin's solicitors said they would appeal against the conviction.
