Harmony Gold Has 11.5% Shares Of Gold Fields

South African gold miner Harmony Gold confirmed on Thursday that as a result of shares acquirement of Gold Fields, it held a total of 56 606 482 or 11.5 percent of rival Gold Fields' shares.

The company said that as a result of the High Court ruling made on May 20, 2005, which announced that the Harmony offer for

Gold Fields lapsed on December 18, 2004, all Gold Fields securities previously tendered have been or would be returned to shareholders.
