US Gold Ended Lower

Comex gold futures ended nearly $1 lower Thursday after continued strength in the U.S. dollar encouraged another wave of fund long liquidation in the precious metal< Dow Jones reports.

The most-active June gold contract settled 90 cents lower at $418 per ounce.
