Gazprombank, the authorized bank of Russian monopoly Gazprom, reported balance profit of 2.71 billion rubles as of May 1, 2005 against 5.64 billion rubles for the same period a year ago.
According to the Central Bank, Gazprombank's proceeds for the year 2004 amounted to 12.13 billion rubles against 5.78 billion rubles in 2003.
