About 300 citizens villages in Kyrgyzstan have blocked the road to the gold deposit Kumtor exploited by Kyrgyz-Canadian joint venture Kumtorzoloto, ITAR-TASS reported.
People, who have blocked the road, are demanding from the Kyrgyz Government and Centerra Gold (stakeholder of 70% shares of Kumtorzoloto) to pay the indemnity for the harm caused to miners and people living near the deposit.
