The production results of gold mining companies of Yakutia (Russia) in January ? July 2005 decreased by 4.8% down to 8.9952 tons (the same period last year 9.4452 tons of gold were mined), Prime Tass reported.
This year 64 companies are involved in gold mining in the Republic, while the total figure of mining enterprises being 77. The main problem associated with the gold mining reduce is technical equipment problem. In order to solve it, a special programme financed by ALROSA has been developed.
