Russia To Invest In Italian Energy Sector

Russia and Italy have "very serious plans" to develop relations in the energy sphere, Russia?s President Vladimir Putin said during the visit of Italian prime-minister Silvio Berlusconi in Sochi, South Russia.

According to Putin, Russia is interested in making investments in the Italian energy sector, including in gas distribution networks, through the national gas monopoly Gazprom.
