The Central Bank of Russia announced that Russia's gold and foreign currency reserves grew by $5.13 billion or 3.5% in August to $149.75 billion from $144.62 billion.
From January to August the volume of reserves increased by $25.213 billion or 20.2% from $124.541 billion on January 1
