Gazprom, ENI To Sign New Deals

The representatives of Russia?s gas giant Gazprom and Italy?s ENI will meet in Moscow at the end of November for talks on signing of new bilateral agreements, ENI CEO Paolo Scaroni announced at a press conference in Turin on Saturday.

Summing up the results of the seminar organised on the initiative of General Electric Company, Scaroni said ENI intends to expand and diversify its partnership with Russia.

The May 10, 2005 agreement between Gazprom and ENI expired, the ENI CEO stressed. ?We and our Russian colleagues are working on a new document, which envision further mutually beneficial cooperation in the gas and oil sector, commercialisation of gas and oil products in Europe and outside Russia,? he explained.
