UAE's oil company Dolphin Energy is pushing ahead with a major project to supply the UAE and Oman with natural gas.
However, it will not be involved in future Qatari plans to pipe gas to Kuwait or other countries.
Dolphin Energy 's CEO Ahmed Al Sayegh said the construction of a plant at Qatar?s Ras Laffan Industrial City to process natural gas from the country?s giant north field is under way, while the company is about to begin the construction of a 370km subsea pipeline to carry gas from Qatar to Taweela in Abu Dhabi.
