Ukrainian Oil State Company Changed CEO

Ukraine's state and oil company Naftogaz Ukrainy appointed Oleksiy Bolkisyev the company's acting CEO, Naftogaz's press service reported.

Ukraine's government fired Oleksiy Ivchenko, the former chief, Thursday because he wanted to resign after he was elected to the parliament in the March 26 general elections, a government spokesman said without disclosing any details.

Bolkisyev was chief executive officer at Naftogaz subsidiary Gaz Ukrainy.
